All posters accepted for the main NetSci 2017 conference will remain in place for the duration of the conference lining the ballroom plenary space from Wednesday, June 21st through Friday, June 23rd (see set up and tear down information below.) There will be a formal poster session and opening reception scheduled for Wednesday, June 21st 6 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. You will be expected to remain at your poster during that time period.
We are offering three poster session awards given to students who submit their own work in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $200. These awards will be judged during the conference itself and announced on Friday morning before the keynote session. This award will be to a student poster presenter who is the first or sole author of a work, and will be judged by a committee at the conference. No special application for this award will be required.
Two posters will share one side of a poster display board. Your poster size should not exceed 4 feet (or 121.92 centimeters) vertical X 4 feet (or 121.92 centimeters) horizontal. We have no requirements about materials (i.e., fabric, paper, or vinyl).
Posters will be placed in White River Ballrooms C-D and E-F. Each board will be numbered. You will receive your poster number assignment prior to arriving.
Set-up: Bring your poster to set-up between 7:30-8:15 am on Wednesday morning (before the morning keynote begins) or between 12:30-2 pm (during the lunch break) on Wednesday, June 21. All posters must be mounted by 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
Tear Down: Poster may be removed beginning at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, June 23 (at the conclusion of the plenary session and during the lunch break) and must be removed by 2:30 p.m. Posters remaining after 2:30 p.m. will be discarded.
Push pins will be available on-site for you to mount your poster.
